Sassy Style Watch: Flatforms

Let's just say I was shocked when I saw these. Jaw dropping shocked.

Many fashion magazines, blogs, and websites are reporting that these flatforms are the shoe of the season, the hottest fashion trend, and a perfect way to add inches without being uncomfortable.

But what about being unflattering?

from Glamour.com
Yes, they definitely add height. Maybe it's because I'm 5'11 so I don't really understand, but is that the kind of height you want? Three to four chunky inches underneath your feet? I don't think so!

from TheBareSkinny.com

This is one fashion trend you won't catch the SassySisters sporting.

If we want height? We'll be sporting a beautiful platform heel, or a wedge heel.

If we want comfort? We'll stick with our ever classic ballet flats.

If we want to be trendy? You might just catch us in a pair of gladiator sandals, oxfords, or even a shoe with the other trend-of-the-moment: cutouts.

Let us know what you think of the current shoe trends and if you will be sporting them!
